Roller Coasting

All day, in a melancholy lurching procession,
These three little trains of cars
Travel around their course.
Each load of passengers gets one plunge,
A few sudden turns, and a laboriously manipulated grinding ascent.
Kinetic energy and potential energy being interchanged may be        experienced dramatically for ten cents.
Many people experience their first embrace on the roller coaster.
